War for the Planet of the Apes actress Amiah Miller is humbled by starring in the Hollywood hit movie.
Miller joined The Roman Show to talk her role in the film.
“It’s crazy. I never would have thought I would be part of something this big. I was actually a fan of Planet of the Apes before I even booked it,” she said. “I would always watch the movies with my dad and now that I booked it is so crazy. Now I am here because of it.”
Miller was part of the Gamercon convention in Miami. Miller started his young career by auditioning in Orlando and later moving to Los Angeles.
She was honored to have been featured on the movie poster. She said she couldn’t believe when she saw an ad for the movie on a Taxi.
The teenager also talked about working with computer-generated imagery (CGI).
“I had to do ever scene with the actors and their suits,” she said. “I had to do it by myself with tape and do the exact same things and put the apes in. It is a lot but they are all amazing actors and actresses.”
She also gave her take on the new Planet of the Apes franchise.
“I feel there are bits and pieces that they have in common, but it is kind of its own thing…”
