For the second year in a row, the Venardos Circus is coming to Miami delivering new acts and entertainment.
The former ringmaster for the now defunct Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus says his show will be fresh.
“There’s new music, costumes, acts and a lot of advancements in the design of the interior,” he said. “Everyone who came last year they are going to see this years theme is Wanderlust, which means the desire to travel. We have such an incredible diversity. We have amazing performers. There is 15 performers in total. The people performing in the air could be the same taking your tickets.”
Some of the new acts include hula-hoop and fire performances. The performances have everything from signing, dancing and eye-opening performances. The seats are about 30 feet from the performances. Venardos advises to arrive an hour before the show to meet and greet the stars.
The tent is placed behind Dick’s Sporting Goods. The Venardos Circus travels across the country for 45 weeks. The tour kicks off in Miami. He said the show is diversed.
“Latinos are all over the country,” he said. “They make the country run. They have built it; particularly in the circus community from Mexico, Colombia, Argentina from Brazil. It is reflecting of the part of the circus that I love, which is family overcoming adversity. It is having a dream than where we are right now.”
