Desmond Moore (6-4) says he is fight ready for Friday’s bout.
Moore is part of the Titan FC 59 fight card and faces Cleveland McLean (11-8) at the Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL live on UFC Fight Pass. Tickets are on sale now.
The American Top Team standout is coming off a loss back in 2018 against Wascar Cruz. The Flyweight contender said he feels confident going into this bout. He doesn’t feel rushed. He spoke to The Roman Show.
“I feel like I finally I am fighting for the right reasons and everything is coming together the way it needs to be. I don’t feel rushed. I feel prepared,” he said. “I was it the school system. I coached high school wrestling. I’d be at school at night. I would take a fight just to take a fight or for financial reasons.”
Moreover, he also spoke about his work with the youth and promoting wrestling in local South Florida schools. He works with the Fellowship of Christian athletes teaching the word of God at local high schools in South Florida.
“It’s a fight it has been tried to get made. But I was thinking a little smarter,” he said. “I wouldn’t take fight and it was either I couldn’t travel, or I wasn’t training. I think he is a similar opponent to me. He is dynamic. He is a dangerous opponent. He has about 90 fights.”
