Major League Wrestling’s Salina de la Renta said she is humbled to be part of Major League Wrestling and making sure the people she manages have the spotlight.
The Roman Show spoke to de la Renta, who currently is nursing an injury. Prior to managing Pentagon Jr. on MLW, De la Renta had her fair share of action inside the ring. However, she said she is focused on making the talent she manages shine.
“When you represent someone is not about you anymore,” said the Puerto Rican wrestler. “Puerto Rico is my roots, when I am in the ring and its what I am about, but when I am managing Pentagon its no longer about Salina and what she wears its more about what I am presenting. That’s why I wear the suit now.”
Major League Wrestling has been taking pro wrestling by storm airing on bein Sports every Friday at 8 p.m. eastern time. The promotion will be returning to the War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, FL September 6 for a tv taping. Tickets will go on sale July 23 at 10 a.m.
She said it has been an eye opening experience working with MLW.
“Working with MLW has been the best experience I’ve had in the time I’ve been wrestling,” she said. “Managing Pentagon allows me to learn from him even, when I am managing. Its awesome when you work with people from different cities, countries it’s awesome that we have a variety of cultures that I get to learn how they do wrestling.”
She also talked about her injury, which she has a GoFund available and more.
