Key West’s Roman Faraldo (1-0) says fans should anticipate a highlight reel for his second professional fight thanks to expanding his training.
Faraldo is set to make his second walk to the professional cage this weekend at Combat Night at the Omni Auditorium located at Broward College, December 7, 2019. Tickets are on sale. He faces Ramon Butts (1-6).
The Florida fighter last fought in the summer to success. He said he took some time off to expand his fight game.
“I feel great. I’ve been training,” he said. “I took a little more time as I do between fights. I wanted to give myself some time grow and level up. I feel great right now. I’ve been working with a lot of new guys.”
The Floridian has amped his training as he has traveled to Duke Rufus to train with top level talent such as Bellator’s Jordan Newman and the UFC’s Paul Felder.
He feels confident with his striking game and added that fans can anticipate a highlight reel.

“I am blessed. I have good connections around me,” he said. “I was able to train with Duke Rufus at the famous Rufus sports. I spent time with the Jiu jitsu coach Daniel Wanderley. I put in some good work with good guys. I am trying to expand my game. I am blessed to be in the position I am. I am moving forward.”
The Fight Sports fighter said that the first fight allowed him to have a good vision of where he stands in his fight game. He said he felt he needed to evolve.
“That first fight was an eye opener because of his (Dilano Taylor) level of grappling. There’s no man alive that will break my will and my heart,” he said.
He also spoke about living and training in Key West and more.
