Debut
This weekend, Li will battle Anna Housel who will also be making her debut in a 125 pound contest.
Combat Night promoter and professional mixed martial artist Mitchell Chamale said he was unaware of Li’s job with the WWE.
“I was unaware until recently, but to us, she is an athlete looking to test her skill on our event,” he said.
Furthermore he said, “we do our best to treat all our athletes the same regardless of what they do outside the cage,” he said.

Fans of Li shouldn’t be surprised of her debut. She posts numerous videos of her training regiment.
As for training, Li hones her craft of martial arts at the The Jungle ran by former UFC fighter Seth Petruzelli.
“I have seen a couple of her video. She looks crisp and tough looking forward to her testing her skills,” Chamale said.
Don’t count on this fight being the only one for her.
Chamale said she intends to keep fighting after this one and continue to have fun.
The fight card will also feature four title fights.
Justin Camacho meets Rick Jantzen for the 135 pound strap; Aaron Walker faces Barrington Bishop for the 170 pound title; Donovan Hedrick will battle Nick McCarty for the 185 pound belt and Casey Berry meets Kenny Agosto for the 145 pound gold.
