Peruvian Luis “Baboon” Palomino (22-9) will have a chance to exhibit his talents in from of a national crowd when he will main event the World Series of Fighting 12 fight card scheduled for August 9.
Palomino will fight undefeated fighter Lewis Gonzalez (9-0). Palomino spoke to The Roman Show in an exclusive interview, where he said he plans on making this fight short.
“Expect fireworks,” he said. “I plan a knockout in the first round.”

He was scheduled to fight in July, but his opponent was injured and alternatives dodged the fight, he said. Although he has not been made officlas, Palomino hopes that a win could get him a title shot for the lightweight title currently held by Justin Gaethje.
The MMA Masters standout isn’t a stranger fighting undefeated fighters.
“He isn’t my first undefeated opponent,” he said. “I have fought others and handed them their first loss. What I can tell you is that they come in with confidence.”
