Bassist for rock band Vex Temper and Ring of Honor wrestler Frankie Kazarian joined The Roman Show to give his take on wrestling theme songs, relationship with Chris Jericho his band’s new album, Christopher Daniels becoming champion and his passion for music.
Vex Temper’s released their latest album Doom Engine in early April and is available for purchase.
Kazarian said he and the front man of FOZZY and WWE wrestling Chris Jericho have a good musical relationship.
“I know Chris. We go back and forth on text about music,” he said. “FOZZY’s last two records are good. He has the showman aspect when he hits the stage.”

He also gave his opinion on creating a theme song for a professional wrestler.
“You need to look how well the character is defined,” he said. “What elements you can pick out that would translate to the music. Look at the Ultimate Warrior, jacked guy, long hair that is basically heavy metal use the riff.”
He said music has always been in his blood.
“I guess pro wrestling came first,” he said. “Music was always played in my house. It was everything from Rolling Stones to Frank Sinatra, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley to Johnny Cash. I really gravitated to wrestling when I was 7. When I was 11 years old, Guns n Roses got me involved with my music. That was my gateway band. I started to play in 1995 three years before I started wrestling. I got busy with wrestling. It paid me money so music was put on the back burner.”
