Larger-than-Life Thrill Experience World-Premieres in Miami and Imagines World Ruled by Dinosaurs
MIAMI, FL (Monday, August 1, 2023) – Billed as the “Largest Dinosaur VR Experience in the World,” the soon-to-open Jurassic VR Park at Miami Seaquarium time-travels visitors on a thrilling, prehistoric journey with Tyrannosaurus, Brontosauruses, Velociraptors and Triceratops, among other colossal creatures.
The exciting and educational exhibit, presented by premier event organizer BisConcert partnerin
“This is the most realistic VR experience of Jurassic ever created. It’s the first of its kind,” said Michael Margolis, Creator and Developer of Jurassic VR Park.
The comprehensive VR project took several years to plan. “I worked on the creative idea for six months, but stopped production due to the pandemic, and when we restarted it took almost two more years to build it,” Margolis said. “A company was hired to create the script, experienced designers were brought in to complete the complex task of making the dinosaurs come to life, and 28 programmers from various countries around the world worked a full year to provide the content and storyline.”
The result: “One of the most realistic VR attractions ever created around prehistoric times,” said Margolis. “Sensors on the VR vest vibrate every time a dinosaur runs or roars throughout the one-hour experience.”
Participants are first outfitted with the necessary gear – a backpack, a special vest with sensors, and VR goggles. Then, they are greeted by a VR robot named “Evo” (short for “Evolution”), who acts as their trusty guide through a daring Jurassic jungle where they come face to face with lifelike dinosaurs in their natural environment.
After Evo preps his audience with information about the equipment they are using as well as shares an intriguing preview of what awaits them, the journey begins. The first stop is the Holographic Room, where Evo explains how the world began and talks about the different types of dinosaurs of the era, how they lived, and how they died. The next stop is the Jurassic VR Jungle, a vibrant ecosystem thriving with lush plants and trees, an active volcano, and sparkling waterfalls.
The adventure ends in true avatar fashion, with participants riding atop a dinosaur where they grasp a vivid view of the prehistoric world.
The ultimate memorable exploration, the experience tracks every movement allowing participants to see others on the ride with them.
