It is safe to attend a sporting event during the pandemic but pay attention.
If safety measures are not in place, consider leaving said Dr. Anthony Harris, Medical Director at WorkCare.
The Roman Show spoke to about attending sporting events held in small venues.
Safety in Sporting Events
“It can be safe to go to sporting events but you are going to have to really be keyed in to the particular of the event Pay attention If you go to an event and you see people not wearing masks consider leaving,” he said.

Harris advised theme parks around the country on how to operate safely during the pandemic.
Bottling companies and restaurants have received advice from Dr. Harris.
“These measures in place are designed to minimize transitions from one person to the next,” he said.

Moreover, he said “The whole goal of the face covering is to stop the droplets that expose when we are talking or speaking. Those droplets are about 20 microns and drop about three feet, studies show.”
