The over 90-degree weather didn’t stop the sellout crowd at the JetBlue Park in Fort Myers from jamming out to the top metal bands at the annual Monster Energy Fort Rock Festival.
This year, Slipknot and lead singer Corey Taylor led the start studded line up, which also included Godsmack Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamin, In This Moment, Fort Rock veteran The Pretty Reckless, Butcher Babies, Japanese metal band Vamps and more.
As the crowd searched for water to hydrate that didn’t stop the more than 10,000 headbangers, who jammed to Slipknot top hits like Custer or Godsmack’s Awake.
It was Slipknot’s first performance in the United States after touring overseas. A pool of people jumped up during Spit it out leaving fans wanting more of the Iowa band. Click here for Slipknot picture.

After a hiatus, Breaking Benjamin hit the stage performing all of their top hits including Breath.
