“I was injured going into that fight. I am a person to fight on the dotted if I can,” he said. “I had a broken hand. I tried to fight, but I did a crappy fight.”
He is in a three fight-losing streak. His last fight was against James Thompson in June.
After his release from Bellator, he spoke about the former company man, Bjorn Rebney.
“He was good to me,” he said. “I never had a problem with him.”
In regards to his hand injury, he is hoping for the best before he continues to train.
“I am doing better,” he said. “I am hoping to have surgery on my hand. I am hoping in a month I can back the mma gym and start working out.”
Being a veteran, he suggested that any military man coming back from combat should consider mma training as therapy.
“It helps you relax and not seeing anything in your hand,” he said. “Anyone getting back from combat you should get into mma.”
