Miami, FL -Cuban signer Dian Rene got a second change and he nailed it.

Renen born in Banes, Cuba, but calls Miami, Fl home, is moving on up after the judges approved him moving to the next round in this season’s America’s Got Talent.

He first performed Jennifer Lopez’s “Waiting for Tonight” but was asked to come back after the judges learned he scheduled to perform in Spanish.

He spoke to The Roman Show on this week’s episode.

“I love singing in English. What happened in the show, I was supposed to sing a song in Spanish, but I was told the Spanish lyrics didn’t clear. I had to learn the song in English the day before,” he said. “I told the judges that and judge Simon Cowell stopped the audition and told me it wasn’t fair for me. He gave me a chance to comeback.”

That’s when he impressed the judges. Today, friends and family from his town are all in full support and believe in him.

“I come from a small town in Cuba and people looked at me as a dreamer,” he said. “To be on a show like America’s Got Talent it was amazing. Some people are now proud of me. Social media is going crazy and people from Cuba are supporting me.

Currently, he is the lead singer over at the popular Mango’s Tropical Café in Miami Beach. He already recorded a full-length album a few years ago, but he is working with top producers on new music.

In fact, he is dropping his new jam “Canciones Pa’ Borrachos” very soon.
