TNA IMPACT WRESTLING CHAMPION MAGUNS TALKS EUROPEAN WRESTLING

TNA Impact Wreslting heavyweight champion Magnus says it is just a matter of time till European’s bring their talents the American professional wrestling.
“When people classify Europe as a whole its strange to me but I can understand,” he said in an interview with The Roman Show. “When you talk about European wrestlers you are talking about predominantly about British and Irish. But there are great talent in Germany and it will be a matter of time before there will be other talents emerging from France or Spain.”
Magnus was in South Florida during TNA Impact Wrestling’s Lockdown pay-per-view in Coral Gables. He defeated Samoa Joe inside a steel cage.
The English wrestler said the athletes from his country can be scooped out as to who were they trained by.
“We get an in grain from an early age over when we get started in the business about holds and counter holds and mat wrestling,” he said. “Mainly, we work in much smaller rings so its about keeping work tight…It helps your footwork. You can tell the difference….I can see who has been influenced.”
He described that now a days professional wrestlers need to know every type of wrestling style whether it is American, Japanese, Mexican or other.
“Now a days, its been about meshing everything,” he said.
He also explained how his generation grew up watching professional wrestling.
“The generation before us, they were brought up by a British scene,” he said. “We were trained by guys with roots of British wrestling, but meshed it with sports entertainment.”
